Class A CDL Truck Driver – Belly Dump, End Dump & Mixer

Alvarado Sand and Gravel is a premier, family-owned trucking, excavating, and ready-mix provider proudly serving our local community. We are actively seeking an experienced, safety-minded Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate our fleet of tractor-trailers, belly dumps, end dumps, and concrete mixer trucks out of our Alvarado yard.

Compensation, Schedule & Perks

• Pay Rate : $1,200 – $1,500 weekly.
• Bonuses : Additional safety bonuses and clean DOT inspection bonuses.
• Shift Schedule : Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.
• Home Time : Home daily with consistent, local year-round work.
• Time Off : Paid vacation and paid regular holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations, including belly dump trailers, end dumps, and ready-mix concrete mixer trucks.
• Position, load, and unload aggregates, dirt, and fresh concrete batches precisely at designated commercial and residential construction sites.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections daily, logging maintenance issues immediately.
• Manage, organize, and turn in daily haul tickets and delivery load slips accurately.
• Maintain clean equipment, washing out mixer drums and cleaning aggregate buildup daily.
• Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, site safety rules, and internal safety protocols.

Job Requirements

• Licensing : Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of proven Class A experience operating belly dumps, end dumps, or mixer trucks.
• Transmission : Ability to confidently drive manual shift transmissions (e.g., 10-13 speed) is highly preferred.
• Physical Ability : Must pass a DOT physical, background check, and regular pre-employment/random drug screenings.
• Work Ethic : Dependable punctuality, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude.
